tHE STORY SO FAR

Winter was never Thanatos' favorite. However, he was born within the winter months under a full moon. the memories that winter brought with it did nothing but hurt his heart.On the 14th of Frostfall, quiet cries rang out into the world as thanatos was born under a full moon. Callista’s first son, he was loved from the moment he came to be. Much could not be said about his father feeling the same way.Within the next two years, he had gained a little brother. He was still to little to realize the weight of the world around him. However, as he got older and his memories formed. He knew he loved his mother and brother and wanted to protect them. So fiercely that even if the sky came down, he would use his tiny arms to hold it up so that they could escape. Though, he felt like he could never escape that man. Unable to escape the ire that the tall man had.Until one night, they did escape. However, this escape nearly cost his mother her life. There was the sound of screaming, his mother bleeding. The body of his father hit the floor, a sickening thud. Followed by running. Everything was a blur- his auntie was there. So was his mother, his little brother. He was so scared, but was unsure of what to do. Then, Callista fell ill. For weeks on end, he was told by his aunt to prepare for her death. He can remember crying often, trying to curl up to his mother in hopes that maybe it would make her better.Eventually, though, she regained the strength. So, Thanatos and his family moved once again. This time though, they were able to settle and be happy. Thanatos knew he was going to be a brother again and was very excited to meet his sister. Eventually, though, that also fell apart. He watched a man he considered ‘dad’ walk away from them, crying and begging him to stay. For two years, he waited, hoping that his new dad would come back. But he never did, and after two years, his aunt dragged them to his current home.At first, everything was cramped. His mother was often stressed, which in turn stressed the boy. He wanted to be able to protect his mother and siblings, but being so young it was impossible to do so. Eventually, his mother met Drenmir. As the two grew closer, Thanatos quickly latched onto this man as a father figure after a brief bout of distrust. He now imitates him in many ways, as this is now his dad.Life is currently comfortable in the spire for the little knight to be, and the world is within his reach.

• "Did I fall too far?"

A boy of ten years old, Thanatos looks through the world with his green eyes. His gaze holds a look of childish excitement and curiosity- as well as the occasional glint of mischeviousness

His hair is a bright white that falls down his back in a slightly messy braid. This matches the freckles across his cheeks that dot his ashen skin like stars in the night sky. His cheeky are chubby and hold a rosy tint to them and when he smiles, a few of his baby teeth are missing

As his culture dictates, being born under a full moon, Thanatos has a tattoo of a full moon on his forehead. This moon is tattooed in a dark red and Thanatos wears it with pride
